There really isnt any adavantage to any of the seats, although in the front, sometimes the pilots dont close the "door" so you can lean and look out the front window. Dont get stuck in the back row tho, I think its cramped.

The luggage question I cant answer, but I never had a problem, I think it also depends whether you are connecting onto mainline CO or just using Gulfstream
I don't think many of the 1900 flights are much longer than an hour.

I've often flown the 1900 BOS-PQI on USex. One peculiarity of this a/c is that, in the era of the armed cockpit door, the 1900 retains an open flight deck with no door.
