If the hotel has a shuttle to the airport I'd return the car the night before the flight (save parking, etc) at least.

Whatever (set of) morons designed the transportation system to/from the airport/rental did not consider that people might have, you know, that luggage stuff.

I find it inconvienent with my roll-aboard and my computer bag, cannot imagine what a hassle it would be with all that stuff.

Plus, I'd rather spend an hour the night before a flight on all that hassle than do it at 6am or whatever. Sounds like a heckuva vacation though!
