I've had issues with sprints software....over 2 laptops and 2 evdo phones....i'd say about %65 of the time their software doesn't recognize that the phone is connected. A reboot of the phone and/or device doesnt help.

I currently have a blackberry 7130e with them and its a dream device....and when the evdo modem feature works, its a life saver!

I've been using my sprint phone as a dialup/broadband for years now.
Earlier it was a dialup, but since the Vision started, I can use my phone
as a DSL with a 144kbps connection. Its been great.

I had a software from sprint before, but all I use now is a generic driver
that came with my cable and use the system in-built utility to setup a
dialup. Very reliable.

Its been working great!
