Anecdotally, I'm not sure that's true during peak periods. There were two US Airways and two Southwest planes ahead of us for takeoff last Thursday. Not only do you have US/HP's largest Eastbound hub, you also have the normal volume of Southwest planes during the 2:50pm to 3:30pm period.

The turntime of 36 minutes is not the problem. AS turned the plane in 36 minutes -- even with several wheelchairs. The flight time to/from SEA needs to be increased by 10 minutes inbound and 15 minutes outbound due to ATC congestion at that time of day. Conversely, they could shift the flight 30 minutes later and avoid the congestion issue.
