Being a CO plat and EWR based, I can say the service at EWR is horrible 95% of the time. There is rarely a red coat directing trafic at the elite check in. I've helped more people there than their employees do (maybe the volunteer plan is working?). The new security check in method means nothing. The lines are full so people can't get to a line meaning the rest of us sit in lines.
Someone suggested that management should be foreced to fly like we do for a few weeks. I garauntee that stupid simple things such as signs, red coats directing people and proper staffing would happen more frequently. I can't tell you how many times I've watched two or three red coats and other employees chatting about another employee while the lines are raging long. The attitude and management at EWR is non-existent or poor at best.
OK, I feel better! I live in between Newark and Philly... I think I'm Philly bound after this year!
