I have read the Ultimate BA guide thread and it states that I can only use MFU if I book in Y B or H in WT in order to MFU to WTP.

Assuming I am booking from the BA website is there an easy way to tell before I complete my booking, that the ticket I am about to buy is eligible for MFU?

Thanks in advance

Sadly not, see item 4 in this sticky. Choosing "Economy(flexible)" will probably get you Y/B/H, but you still can't be 100% sure.

Using a MFU from WT>WT+ doesn't get you that much; it's generally much better upgrading from WT+>J. It's worth checking the fares, a T-class (WT+) might be around the same sort of money as a Y/B/H fare anyway.
