While most of the airline rates qualify for points and status, crew rooms are generally directly billed to the airline so no points are earned...but a crewmember or other airline employee may get the same rate for a personal stay (as a perk) or if they're traveling on company business and pay with a credit card as opposed to using a direct-bill account.
