Hi,
Just wondering, if on any of your long haul flights, have cabin crew come up to your seat and said " I've flown with you before , haven't I?"?
Admittedly Virgin is a lot smaller than BA ( and I do not want to get into a VS vs BA argument) but even after a year after my last Upper Class flight with VS, I flew LHR-DEL on 21st August and returning on 27th August , the Upper Class Purser came up to me prior to departure and said that she recognised me form a previous flight ( I did recognise her albeit I could not remember exactly what flight it was) and we chatted for a while at the bar after dinner.
On the flight back from Delhi, the Flight Service Manager ( VS equivalent to the CSD) came up and said she had flown with me before .I did remember her (albeit from prior to her promotion to FSM). Some FSM's have tended to dissapear during the flight but she was absolutely terrific and we chatted away at the bar for well over an hour during the flight after lunch as well as she came round with poppadoms and vairous dips whilst at the bar and making bellinis!!

( as well as attending to other customers). She also got another pax some water and a paracetomol whilst we were just leaving the hold for landing at LHR ( about 5mins from landing). ( I will be writing a letter of thanks to VS).
Although it is a small thing, it very much impressed me that despite over a year ( anod probably lots of flights) the crew recognised me.
For the very frequent travellers , seeing the same crew might be more common?
Regards
