Just go over the West Coast and back. Make sure you get something out of it yourself - decent pay, and earn some miles on the flights if you can suffer AA. These things happen.

PS - Universal Studios is MUCH better than Disney. Also, pay the fast track rate of $99 instead of the usual $59, and you never have to queue for anything.
