I ran this by a friend of mine who has an Amex card, and according to him, American Express also has this benefit where if you buy something from a store with any Amex card (including the JetBlue card I would assume), and it gets stolen or accidentally breaks, Amex will cover it.

Is this true and has anybody had experience with this?
