We certainly will look into possible Florida locations too.

Hurrican season ends November 1.

We have a place in Ft. Lauderdale as my wife's dad lives there (a native born and bred there, not a transplant).

November is great in FL, esp. south Florida as many of the snowbirds have not come yet -- celebrating Thanksgiving with the families -- while the weather is beautiful. The weather temps while we have been there for the last few years over that time have averaged about 82 degrees during the day and sunny.

Check Weather.com for the avgs for the places that you are thinking about.

In addition, perhaps some residents of those areas can chime in with some information for you, but I believe on the whole, FL would be warmer than AZ, at least, not sure about CA.
