Just an observation on the earning now:

Today for NUE-AMS-DTW-MSP I earn roughly 7500 points. With 1.8 exchange that would be 13.680 miles later.

The same trip later this year would earn 9936 miles if you have no status, 14904 if you are silver and 19872 if you are gold/plat. But only 9936 count as status.

So for renewal of RW compared with plat that means:

RW renewal on that route: fly 3,2 trips
Plat renewal on that route: fly 7,5 trips

Now that's nice...

They have to introduce some very nice amenities for plat compared to RW to keep us happy...
