Dom Perignon?
You guys get me into trouble here.
OK, I take it! (assuming that Mike wanted to say something like 1:1.8 and not 1:8!)
My bet: Conversion rate will be better than 2 miles for 1 point.
[Something like 1 point -> 2.xx miles]
We'll have the champagne together on a KLM Flyertalker meeting and talk a lot about huge mileage accounts and weired travel plans. Anybody else to join the bet?
But to be honest, this is a little bit unfair. I'm also guessing, but...
edited to add a limit:
max. of 10 bottles Dom Perignon (and I surely hope we find a date to kill these bottles together)

Post preserved for posterity. Chilled please.
newbe at 2+ new for old you must think you are dealing with Santa Klaus and not our frugal friends at KLM?
Folks it is VERY simple. They simply converted miles to kilometres, added 10% tax and rounded up. All the Americans of COURSE, as they are metric freaks know there are 1.609 Km = 1 mile. Therefore 1000 FD points becomes 1800 new FD points. 1609+10% + rounding up = 1800. How much simpler can it get?
