With a PRE-EXISTING policy of transferring FD to WP 1:1.25, I can't see why there is an expectation to change that conversion ratio on this thread.

Don't misunderstand, like you all, I'd be grateful for an unexpected windfall of FD points. But a more generous conversion has got to come out of somebody's pocket. I would suspect that NW would want some kind of compensation for anything beyond the 1:1.25 conversion and I equally suspect that KLM would have no interest in paying such compensation!!

I am more comfirtable using the 1:1.25 ratio precedent as a DEFENSIVE measure to insure that FD doesn't try to decrease the conversion ratio below 1:1.25.

As other boards will attest, FFP benefit expansion is over with. At this stage of the game, we should be looking to PROTECT existing FFP assets from being cut.
