I guess they will take the conversion-factor from the average raise in awards. So if an Y-award AMS-NYC costs 35000 points right now and perhaps 50000 miles in the future, that would be a conversion-rate of 1.43. If they base the rate on AMS-DTW, it's 1.25, and if they take the AMS-SFO ratio, it's 1:1.
My guess in this case goes to 1:1.25.
