If it were me, I'd go 777, get at least a International J seat, at best a sticker upgrade to "the best", then use my "half" savings to rent a car for $15-20 a day and drive to my parents house. But that's just me and because I like my independence and haven't had to ask Mom to borrow the car since I was 18!
