On AS, we use white tags for bags checked gateside that will go to baggage claim and red tags for bags checked gateside that will come back up to the gate. The TSA is MOST strict about the rules! White tags must go to bag claim regardless of anything else. Gate agents ARE human and can make mistakes...it doesn't hurt to be aware of the tags and colors!

AS: White=Bag Claim Red=Jetway
