This ain't brain surgery or rocket science... this really comes down to common sense. It doesn't even have to be the same phone # as it is for the carrier's own elites, but it should be a phone number which gets special attention.

I found that they don't have to be code shares. If you book through SMS then DL is acting as your travl agent and can and will intercede on your behalf with the other ST carrier.

It works for me.
