Anyone know if this is accurate? Could we park there as an alternative to the high hotel parking rates even if we are not hiking the Pass (seems like it would be tough to know if we aren't)?

If not, can anyone suggest affordable strategies for parking in Whistler in late September?

Thanks!

P.S. I know I sound cheap but our hotel wants $30/night!!!
I have in the past but is very inconvienent especially when it is raining. The parking lot is a gravel lot on the high side of the village. Depending on which hotel you will be staying it could be quite a distance away from your hotel.

Mrs T did not like her walk in the rain even though I insisted it was great exercise.
