If you are a T-Mobile USA subscriber, roaming rates in Europe are sky-high! 18 cents a minute works out to $10.80 per hour. Ironically, any perfect stranger can sign on and buy pay-as-you-go access at a cheaper per-hour price than what they charge their long-time USA subscribers.

Executive summary: unless you're gonna be on there just a minute or two, pay for it by-the-hour at the "walk-up" rate. So much for the benefits of being a loyal long-term subscriber. Stand by T-Mobile for years through thick and thin, and they give their product away cheaper to everyone else than to you! Go figure!

The CX lounge at LHR has T-Mobile, but it also has free wired access at all the phone / desk workstations.
