Do NH F !!!! It is absolutely outstanding. I've travelled in the front cabin of a lot of carriers, and NH F is head and shoulders ahead of the pack. (I think Swanhunter would agree here.)

SIN is a dull place per se, but it is excellent for good shopping, and for getting great hotels at good prices too. You can get the R-C or the Shangri-La in SIN for well under £150 a night, which is excellent value IMO. (Of course BKK hotels are cheap too, but SIN has no virtually language issues, cabbies are honest, and there is no one out on every road corner trying to sell you something.)

If you do go to BKK, I can give you advice on a certain bar that Swanhunter recently recommended to me before my last trip. Just off Sukhumvit Soi 12. You'll walk out wondering: "I can't believe it wasn't table tennis."
