According to the Continental website, the train portion of a Montreal - Philadlephia journey (but you must select Philadelphia 30th Street and not PHL) does give 500 miles to Continental One Pass members. But, of course, that's not much help in knowing whether FB members also get the miles or, more to the point for me, whether it counts as a qualifying flight for Gold status.
