Interesting points re check-in...

When it was just me - or my wife and I - travelling, check-in was a breeze.

Now Swiss Jr is along for the ride, about 50% of the time there's some kind of major issue.

In major I mean like the airline not being able to find his booking even though i've got an e-ticket or whatever in my hand.

That aforemention bookings then have to be combined (so you lose the return seat allocations).

Or that calls have to be made to find out which seats we can have (this isn't a BA issue btw).

Let me assure you, I want to be away from there as soon as possible but it's amazing how all of a sudden what must be routine events start to chew up time.
