I think this is just a case of CO using equipment where it is most needed, whether it be for snowbird flights to the south and Hawaii or for heavy MX in HKG. I do not think this indicated that CO's european service is taking a beating but rather an acknowledgment that there simply is not as much demand for service in the winter months.
