I am Platinum on Celebrity/RCCL. On my last cruise, we were invited to board first with someone walking us on and welcoming us. We were invited to a private brunch one morning, several cocktail parties, recieved a gift at the end of the cruise and best of all, on morning of departure, were invited to a private room where we were guided off ahead of the other passengers.

Additionally, we recieved coupon books with discounts for drinks, photos, and match-play in the casino including the aforementioned discounts on internet use and other things.

In any case, I appreciated the amenities and would sail with them again anytime. However I must also say that several lines I thought would be horrible turned out to be much better than expected, such as Carnival.
