It is a good deal for short connections if you charge it to your T-mobile account. But if you already have a T-mobile monthly hotspot account, it is on top of what you already pay. So the UK account where pay as you go in 10 minute units on either network is better for low volume use. (But US T-mobile cell phone subscribers get a different deal with the monthly hotspot account reduced to $20.)
