Flight crew on domestic U.S. flights are exempt from these regulations, although several have opined that it is great that the rest of us must follow them.
It's only a matter of time before a flight crew member gets made an example of by being charged with "smuggling" a bottle of water or a container of deodorant on board for a passenger.
