Just to update - had no problems at either end. I didn't have the letter at LGW for the LGW-NCL flight but I told the guy I was a member but didn't have a card yet and that I had an e-mail on my phone confirming my membership if he wanted to see it. He didn't and just waved me through to the Terraces
