Actually the buffet is advertised as running 7-9am only. Though they were seating families just after 9am - that is actually an easy time to get in. I went around 8:30am - that is definitely a peak time on a weekend day...
Your post makes me glad I didn't book a reward stay. We were on a family trip, and the view was important. Glad I followed the "book the lowest cat you'd be happy with" and paid.
As to the buffet, at least on Sunday morning, they divide it into 2 shifts. We were told it was between 9:30 and 11:30, which kinda shocked me. So I went down at 8 to see if I could get coffee, and sure enough, it was running. Hostess told me they give different times to spread the load.
But clearly, one can go at any time between 7 and 11 (check, could be earlier and or later, front desk will tell you the "true story").
