Most people I know will fly WestJet to LAX and PSP from the West.
It would just take some astute marketing by WestJet since I noticed there was a Disneyland Travel Desk with shuttles in ONT. I'm sure that landing fees etc. would be lower...
Please, spare us the Alberta conceit of claiming to be "the West". Most people I know from "the West" out here would fly YVR-LAX without hesitation. For someone with such a stated preference for non-stops, I'm surprised you didn't just fly YEG-LAX.
