You may also want to consider the Mercure Hotel Schiphol Terminal. It's an Accor hotel but a bit nicer than the Ibis, but best of all, it is within the terminal (it's even airside, so you can just wake up and go to your gate in the morning if your luggage is through-checked)

It's quite cheap compared with other airport hotels (it was 52 euro for a single room last time I went). But beware: the rooms don't have windows!!!!!! So if you're claustrophobic, you may want to reconsider. But already being inside the terminal, and having no trains, shuttles and such to take more than compensate the lack of windows for such a short layover.
