Joh and I are doing a week's holiday in Norway and Denmark soon, (after flying KLM to AMS from Oz) then flying KLM Copenhagen to AMS Wed June 5 arriving 8pm. Next morning at about 7.30 am we are flying BA to LHR to connect with our Concorde flight.

I guess more folks on this Forum know about AMS airport hotels than anywhere on FT, so appreciate a heads up on where the BEST value place to be staying is. (This is our own dime, not company dollar and the Pacific Peso is about 500 to a Euro!) We just need somewhere to put out head down as we arrive late and have an early start next morning.

Are there deals that might be cheaper as we are flying KLM, or are Royal Wing etc? Guess we better stick near to airport due to very early departure June 6. All I see on www.biddingfortravel.com are downtown Marriott or Renniasance coming up for about $US100 inc tax and fee, which I hope we can do somewhat better on? Greatly appreciate any input.

And anyone who happens to be around the airport Wednesday evening and wants to catch up for a drink, please let us know.
