Most people I know will fly WestJet to LAX and PSP from the West.
It would just take some astute marketing by WestJet since I noticed there was a Disneyland Travel Desk with shuttles in ONT. I'm sure that landing fees etc. would be lower.
Very, very few people who fly into PSP take cabs as they either have a car here or rent. In LAX, cab prices make YYZ look reasonable.
You're right people do LAX through WS, but I was saying if they went to ONT, people would think "where the hell is ONT? Seems sketchy, I know LAX, I know LAX still exists, I know how to get from LAX to LaLaLand, so they may sway into AC. My opinion.
