I'd perfer Amex on my side than Citi. --I must have 75-90 charges a month. some need to be disputed.
I do know that Citi treats customers who are worth a lot more--to citi in annual profits-- than a $400 annual card fee, poorly is the chairman card so seprate a culture from the organization.
I do agree with you in the fact that Citi serice is bad...I used to have an AA credit card...but with Chairman...it is a different world...I have had some merchant discrepancies...the CSR immerdiatly credited my acct for the charge and they did their own investigation...took no more than 10min max...
Amex does have its programs and connections..which is a benefit but it does not outweigh their negatives...
I had an amex plat...but cancelled it because of poor service considering that it was their sencond best card...do I have to pay 2500/yr just to get some decent service?
