He has it right... sort of.
You get the 100% PLT bonus starting ON the flight that made you PLT.
However, they are NOT Q-miles (aka, EQM). You only get bonus miles/RDMs. You will still only receive 3452 EQM (not important for challenges, but important for stickers).
