Yeah, you may have to wait a few minutes with the rest of us at the baggage carousel but it'll save you a stroke/heart attack as you worry whether or not the prohibited items will be confiscated from your carry-ons.

I've had terrible luck with checked bags on some airlines (e.g. US). By "terrible" I mean 2 out of the last 3 times I have checked a bag it has taken
more than two days after the flight arrived to get my bag.
