Yeah that's what I'm afraid.
If I miss the flight it isn't the end of the world, there are three more flights that day, but if my luggage gets lost/delayed it will be a bit inconvenient.
I have no idea how well (or not so well) the baggage handling works at DEN for transfer luggage.
