Climbguy, I think that we're sort of talking about two different things here. But you are correct, there is no restriction on a Club Acela (CA) coupon requiring one to be a Select member. In fact one does not even need to be an AGR member to use a CA coupon. The only restriction on a CA coupon is that one must also present a valid Amtrak ticket for travel on an Amtrak train that day.
