Perth, Scotland - was one of the first in the UK. It's the second Saturday in the month, and since Perth is in the heart of good meat country, there is usually some fantastic beef, lamb and pork to be had, as well as things like venison and ostrich. My personal favourites is the beef from Highland cows, but of course they only use the ugly ones, not the cute ones
There is also good seafood, as one of the west coast companies is a regular vendor, but one has to get to his stall early.
The one is York (1st Saturday in the month) is much more vegetable driven, although there is usually some good pork - but not nearly so good or diverse as Perth.
