The only coffee I buy for home any more is the hazelnut-flavored 8 o'clock brand. Not TOO flavored, just enough to give it a nice aroma. And the price is right. Years ago Consumer Reports rated 8 o'clock coffee the best of the store brands and that's been good enough for me ever since.

I have no patience for "real coffee is black coffee" snobbery. Fine for them if it makes them happy, but they've got no more chance of converting me than a Jehovah's Witness ringing the doorbell during my all-time favorite movie. My firm opinion (but then, I'm Irish) of both coffee and tea is that if God had wanted us to drink them without cream and sugar, He would have made them taste better in the first place.
