I had originally booked at the Nikko for three nights thinking the transportation into Osaka for tours and such would be OK. And a great place to watch the planes!

When I looked into the details, the commute from KIX into Osaka each day added an hour each way to my tours and I thought it was not wise. For a similar price I booked the Osaka Hilton and will use that as my 'base'.

Airport hotels in general are convenient for the night before or after a flight. I think my several day plan was not wise .... and this post sort of confirms it (small rooms).
