I guess your TA screwed up. If you have a paper ticket make sure your also get the flight coupons for any flights which are on a waiting list after ticketing.

It has happened to me that I was booked into Y and waitlisted on A on UA. The waiting list cleared but I only had the coupon for the Y flight in my ticket. Ended up flying in Y...
