Stayed at Starwood - valet/rental car problem
Does anyone know what kind of protection I have if I believe my rental car was damaged by the hotel/valet? I had a rental car which at the time of my rental did not have a dent, I noted all minor scratches and what not before taking the car. But when I got to the rental car place to return, they noted that there was a dent on the front end and sure enough there it was. I honestly believe this was caused by the hotel/valet. I wouldn't try to blame the hotel/valet if I had caused it. I didn't take the car to places that would've even had a chance of such a dent. It's not big but not that small that it's unnoticeable. I was so taken by surprise that I didn't even think of taking a picture, getting the copy of my contract back..all I have is the receipt as I was catching my flight back home. I don't know what the outcome from the rental car place is going to be but I'm really distressed about the whole situation.
