It's a broad issue in the UK , regarding almost any public sector bodies in the UK.

The reason for this degradation of public services in the UK versus the other european countries are politicals , and cames from the economic policies of Margaret Thatcher in the 80's .

The laboralist hasn't been brave enough to reverse this degradation of public services in the UK . It would have needed a lot of public inversion ..instead they decided to move most of the public services to the private sector .... with the result ALL we see in the UK Airports , UK Railways , UK roads , etc, etc. ... .
I'm impressed that civilizaciones has managed to be suspended in his "first" month on FT and after just 14 posts. Do you think it might be a case of cultural differences?
