Has anyone ever done a DM name change for their account?

I just got married and my wife has changed her last name. I called DM and they said I have to fax our marrage certificate to some number to get the change approved. Does anyone know how long a name change takes?

Also, we have a roundtrip flight on Sunday/Thursday with her NEW last name on the ticket. Will she be able to get credit for the flight on her DM account with the OLD last name? Do you think it will be a hassle to get the miles posted?
