Flew first class BAH-DOH last week. Got to CX lounge and was admitted. Some 5 or 10 minutes later, the CX lounge attendant comes to see me and apologises profusely and tells me that BA now demands that their pax use the BA contracted lounge (the Dilmun lounge) and not the CX lounge. She said that this seemed to be a new policy as they had had BA F/C and elite pax regularly in the past and expressed surprise that they should not even make an exception for F pax. In the particular case, she did let me stay as she felt uncomfortable herself about chucking out an F pax already admitted.

It seems that the underlying issue is that BA will now refuse to pay CX for BA pax using CX lounge at BAH where an alternative (contracted) lounge is available for BA pax.
