My take on it (from past experience with similar FRA bonuses) is that if there is anyone else's metal anywhere in the PNR you lose the bonus. Ran into it last year where I was denied the bonus on the FRA trip (PDX-SFO-FRA UA metal, FRA-TRN LH metal and return) the LH segment was the culprit. Pleading my case with a CSR, she told me that I should have booked the FRA-TRN segment on another PNR to keep the bonus.
