Good compact bluetooth mouse?

I travel frequently and use my laptop in somewhat remote locations (no desks). But I hate mousepads. My laptop already has bluetooth so that makes the most sense. I already have USB dongles that fill up all my slots so I don't want another for my mouse.

I have had a Thermaltake X-wing mouse for about 18 months now, and the buttons are starting to fail/stick. I am pretty hard on my stuff so this is no suprise. I need a replacement and figure FTers will have some opinions!

What I love about this mouse:
- very small size
- good ergonomics
- never have had any problems with bluetooth sync/discover since I bought it!
- fairly robust (put up with my abuse for over a year
- takes regular AAA batteries
- several color options

What I don't like about this mouse
- poor battery life (less than a month's worth of non-continuous use)
- can't power via USB if batteries are dead
- can't charge batteries via USB or other way (besides a standalone battery charger for AAA)

So basically, if I could find this same mouse that still used standard AAA batteries, but could be powered/charged by USB, with a bit better battery life, that would be ideal. Any suggestions? I am pretty limited because I don't want a 'full size' bluetooth mouse.

Thanks!
