Innsburuk's not a bad town, worth a trip to see the golden rooof and the like.

If they want action,have you thought about hiring mountain bikes? If local cable cars are running, and of the gondola type, they normally let you take bikes up in them. Avoid all the hard work going up the mountains and blast down the trails.

Paragliding is pretty popular in Austria - the nearest place I know for a fact that does it is in Soll (on the A12 Innsbruck to Salzburg road)

Further afield, there is white water rafting near St Johann in Tirol.
