In my experience, seats are usually assigned at purchase, but I have found that your gate agent can usually make changes as you check in, if for some reason you need to be reseated. I have almost always been asked by the gate agent if my seat assignment is OK with me prior to the actual issuing of a boarding pass.

How does the boarding process work.

Pretty much like every airline except WN. On your boarding pass, you will notice a boarding time near the departure time. F9 almost always boards at that time. Courtesy boarding is first, for people traveling with children, those needing assistance, and F9's Summit and Ascent Members. Then, the plane is boarded by rows from the back to the front.

First time flying AIRBUS - how does the 318/319 compare with the 737?

WN's 737's are usually pretty comfortable, but I think you will like F9's equipment even better! On board, it is hard to tell the difference between the 318's and the 319's, except for the fact that the 318's have a bit more overhead room for carryons. Of course, F9 has TV, but not only that, the seats are quite comfortable. There is enough pitch so that when the person in front of you reclines fully, there still seems to be adequate room.

As a general rule, almost everyone I have spoken with who has flown F9 has been quite happy, and becomes a repeat customer. You should also notice a genuine "We are glad to see you on our airline" attitude with all the staff.

Let us know what you think!

Thank you
